How often is the tracking status updated?expand_more
Tracking milestones are updated at each key stage: booking, document submission, customs clearance, departure, and delivery. Major updates typically occur within 2 hours of each milestone.
What does "Customs Cleared" mean?expand_more
It means ZRA (Zambia Revenue Authority) has approved all your import or export documentation and your cargo has been officially released at the border. Your shipment can now proceed to its destination.
My shipment shows "In Transit" — what should I expect?expand_more
Your cargo is loaded and moving toward its destination. The ETA shown is estimated based on current road conditions and border wait times. Contact us if your ETA is more than 24 hours overdue.
Can I track air cargo and ocean freight shipments?expand_more
Yes. All SafeRoute-managed shipments — road, air, and ocean — are assigned a reference number. For ocean freight, you can also track using the carrier's own container number.
